Pierre Krolak-Salmon, MD, PhD, describes the benefits of a timely diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease, alongside the major system constraints which are acting as barriers to the early diagnosis of the disease. He then highlights some possible options for reducing system constraints, to ready the system for the early diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease. The symposium closes with a panel discussion summarizing the learnings from the patient case, multidisciplinary team working, and creating a referral network.
